I’m a stay at home wife to my wonderful husband Anthony. We have two grown boys, Nick and Christopher, and a beautiful daughter-in-law, Nikki. We are enjoying the empty nest, but missing the kids. We have a 5 year old Golden Retriever, Nala, and a 3 year brown tabby cat, Koda, our house is anything but quiet. Looking at the names we chose for our fur babies, you might have figured out that we are big Disney fans! We try to go every couple of years, with or without the kids, now more without the kids and that has been ok, we are discovering vacationing without the kids now and it’s been fun!
I have been papercrafting for 20 years now and started the way most of us did then by going to a home based scrapbooking party. After that I was hooked! Not long after that I was branching out to see what the rest of the scrapping world had to offer. Over the years, my style and interests have changed and evolved, but at the core, I still love papercrafting. In the past several years, I have branched out and started stamping and have fallen in love with cardmaking. I’ve also fallen in love with Copics, watercoloring, and colored pencils, basically any type of coloring medium. I also like to bring stamping and some mixed mediums into my scrapbooking, why should my cards get all the love!
Besides papercrafting, I enjoy reading, cross stitching and crocheting. For the past ten years, a big part of our lives have been taken up with the boys running careers, first with high school then college. May 2015 was our last meet when Nick ran his last collegiate meet. We miss it and are hoping to continue to see him run in events now that he’s graduated. Really hoping for a half marathon at Disney!! Needless to say, I know a lot of the running world, too!
Hoping that sharing my work on this blog will bring inspiration to some of you!!
